Daycare at Zeki Playhouse
3 months – 2 years

Daycare

Our Daycare programme provides a nurturing environment for infants and toddlers, with low child-to-carer ratios and a focus on attachment, routine and sensory exploration. Every child has a dedicated key carer who tracks their feeding, sleep and milestones in close partnership with parents.

Daily Schedule

  • 7:00 AM – Arrival and free play
  • 8:30 AM – Morning feed / breakfast
  • 9:30 AM – Sensory time and music
  • 11:00 AM – Outdoor play
  • 12:00 PM – Lunch and nap
  • 3:00 PM – Snack and story time
  • 4:00 PM – Quiet play and pickup

Kindergarten at Zeki Playhouse
3 – 4 years

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten programme builds on the foundation of Daycare with structured play-based learning aligned to the CBC curriculum. Children explore literacy, numeracy, creative arts and the world around them through hands-on activities and small-group projects.

Daily Schedule

  • 7:30 AM – Arrival and welcome circle
  • 8:30 AM – Literacy and storytelling
  • 10:00 AM – Snack and outdoor play
  • 11:00 AM – Numeracy and discovery
  • 12:30 PM – Lunch
  • 1:30 PM – Creative arts / music / movement
  • 3:00 PM – Quiet time and pickup

Pre-School at Zeki Playhouse
4 – 6 years

Pre-School

Our Pre-School programme prepares children for a confident transition to primary school. We follow the CBC pre-primary curriculum with an emphasis on reading, writing, numeracy and critical thinking, balanced with rich opportunities for play, sport and the arts.

Daily Schedule

  • 7:30 AM – Arrival and morning assembly
  • 8:30 AM – Literacy and writing
  • 10:00 AM – Snack and outdoor play
  • 11:00 AM – Numeracy and problem solving
  • 12:30 PM – Lunch
  • 1:30 PM – Environmental activities / Kiswahili / arts
  • 3:00 PM – Reflection and pickup

  • Reading short texts independently
  • Writing letters, words and simple sentences
  • Counting, addition and subtraction within 20
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Resilience, focus and school-readiness
