Junior Secondary at Zeki Playhouse

Grade 7 – Grade 9

Junior Secondary

Junior Secondary is Zeki Playhouse School's primary programme, designed to help learners transition from foundational learning into disciplined, independent and future-ready scholarship. We combine CBC-aligned academics, mentorship, practical projects, ICT, leadership and character development so every learner grows with confidence and purpose.

Daily Schedule

  • 7:30 AM – Arrival, assembly and morning reflection
  • 8:00 AM – Core academics: English, Mathematics and Science
  • 10:00 AM – Humanities, creative arts and practical subjects
  • 12:30 PM – Lunch and mentorship time
  • 1:30 PM – CBC projects, ICT, sports and clubs
  • 3:00 PM – Homework support, reflection and pickup

Daycare at Zeki Playhouse

3 months – 2 years

Daycare

Our Daycare programme now offers flexible 24-hour care for families who need dependable support during the day, overnight or across weekends. Children receive warm supervision, feeding, rest routines, sensory play and close parent communication in a safe home-away-from-home environment.

Daily Schedule

  • Flexible arrival and settling-in routines
  • Feeding, naps and gentle sensory play
  • Music, story time and supervised movement
  • Outdoor play and age-appropriate exploration
  • Evening wind-down, dinner and bedtime care
  • Overnight supervision with calm, safe routines

Kindergarten at Zeki Playhouse

3 – 4 years

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten programme builds on the foundation of Daycare with structured play-based learning aligned to the CBC curriculum. Children explore literacy, numeracy, creative arts and the world around them through hands-on activities and small-group projects.

Daily Schedule

  • 7:30 AM – Arrival and welcome circle
  • 8:30 AM – Literacy and storytelling
  • 10:00 AM – Snack and outdoor play
  • 11:00 AM – Numeracy and discovery
  • 12:30 PM – Lunch
  • 1:30 PM – Creative arts / music / movement
  • 3:00 PM – Quiet time and pickup

Pre-School at Zeki Playhouse
P
4 – 6 years

Pre-School

Our Pre-School programme prepares children for a confident transition to primary school. We follow the CBC pre-primary curriculum with an emphasis on reading, writing, numeracy and critical thinking, balanced with rich opportunities for play, sport and the arts.

Daily Schedule

  • 7:30 AM – Arrival and morning assembly
  • 8:30 AM – Literacy and writing
  • 10:00 AM – Snack and outdoor play
  • 11:00 AM – Numeracy and problem solving
  • 12:30 PM – Lunch
  • 1:30 PM – Environmental activities / Kiswahili / arts
  • 3:00 PM – Reflection and pickup
